October 31st: A small biographical write-up of me was featured in the West Seneca Bee
The full write-up that I submitted for this piece was as follows:

"I am running for the position of Superintendent of Highways, because I have worked in the Highway Department for over 10 years and during that time have identified inefficiencies that can be corrected to improve the Department’s overall functioning, benefiting residents and workers alike.

I graduated from West Seneca West and continued my education at Erie Community College. Most importantly, to maintain competence, I regularly complete technical trainings respective to my work, including the Local Roads Program provided by Cornell University.

I also have 10 years of private business management experience. Specifically, I have overseen the successful operation of several local storage facilities. My achievements include re-budgeting to maximize return on equity and overall business performance as well as coordinating and overseeing the costs for remodels and construction.

My main goals include promoting responsible spending through the use of efficient work orders, proper worker oversight, review of purchase orders, and mindful use of overtime. Maintaining worker safety represents another top priority. I will work to make sure that our workers are properly trained on all equipment, ensure that their equipment is safe and that adequate staffing ratios are maintained. I will strive to maintain productive relationships with Town residents and the Board, as the actual success of the Highway Department is dependent on my ability to do so.

I feel that my combined experience in the Highway Department and private business management has uniquely prepared me to have a significant positive impact."
